CHARMAS TRIO (click for audio/video samples) performs at pubs, wineries, house concerts, and private parties. Everyone in the trio sings, with accompaniment by fiddle, flute and guitar. The core trio consists of Aaron Clegg (lead vocals/flute), Phil Johnston (lead and harmony vocals/guitar) and Elise MacGregor Ferrell (harmony vocals/fiddle). The trio’s genres include traditional Celtic music and American Roots music, with a specialization in Sea Music.

Adding bassist Phil Jurman and drummer Stephen Vahle expands Charmas to a 5-piece party band, performing Celtic Rock and American Classic Rock, in addition to traditional folk music. The full band’s diverse instrumentation includes Celtic wooden and silver flutes, Irish whistles, saxophone, fiddle, Great Highland bagpipes, acoustic and electric guitar, electric bass, and kit/hand drums.

CHARMAS FESTIVAL BAND performs at outdoor concerts and ticketed stage venues, with a rotating cast of core- and guest-musicians. Its genres include Celtic fusion, original folk music, and holiday-themed comedy music.
